Am I an asshole? An old friend of mine who has a dead end job but has lived with parents his entire life (meaning no expenses) has become hyper obsessed with Elon Musk and crypto. He recently posted a “flex” picture on instagram showing off his Amex Gold card. After two years of this I finally let him know that many of his old friends find his new behavior exhausting and I poked a bit of fun at his amex picture (said a credit card isn’t a fashion statement).

Do additional card holders also get lounge access with Amex Plat? (Paying the additional 175 to have the additional plat card)

Need some help. Says I need $1k spend left by 12/31 to make Delta Platinum. Is this spend updated real-time after every charge? Or does it hit after I pay my Amex delta bill (which is greater than 1k)? Thank you!

Can I add a new membership to my existing account? I have a PP account with the lower 2-visit membership benefit (from my corp Amex), but I've recently got a capital one credit card that lets me get a full PP membership. USI veterans, need your help!

I had booked a flight through Amex and claimed reimb for it - Amex expense for X amount. But this had to be cancelled and another was booked for X+3000 amount.

Before Amex could receive refund for X amount, I received reimbursement for X amount from D. So I made a counter entry for -X amount and claimed reimb for X+3000.

Problem is that, my counter entry got debited, for -X amount, but I see ANOTHER -X amount in reimb summary, probably due to refund recd in Amex.

I cleared the outstanding, however my second application was also rejected with reason (as 1st application got declined). How long does it take to get approved for an AmEx? I fly to KRK tomorrow and have an 11 hour layover in FRA and want lounge access. I’ll also be doing more personal travel this year so think it’d be worth it. Think I can get it done and approved by tomorrow?
