Hi moms. My son just turned two and he seems to suddenly develop a fear of strangers, including kids at his age at the playground. Is this normal? We took him out of daycare 1 year ago and have been very cautious during the pandemic: less interactions with relatives and friends, playground only when there is less to none people. I am wondering whether it is an early sign of autism, or normal mental development, or just bcoz of pandemic.

I started a job in May of this year. I’m in need of a major surgery that will take me out of work for 2-4 weeks. Every week I wait the pain and situation gets worse, however I’m not comfortable taking time off when I just getting started. My question: how many months should I work before request off? What do you think is appropriate? I was hoping to get to the 6 month mark but I’d love to hear what you have to say.

Here is a philosophical question related to vaccine mandates and how the principle can be carried to other debates:
Should it be illegal to have unprotected sex? We would all be a lot safer if everyone stopped doing that. According to the (US) medical community (not the rest of world) circumcision reduces transmission of STDs. Should circumcision be mandatory? Are there any other mandates you can suggest that could make us safer?
