I just got my Autonomous Ergo2 last week. It’s nice for the price.

I have a steelcase gesture chair at work that I love. The Autonomous is not as nice overall but I do like it for sure. My work steelcase chair is 4x the price😒

The Ergo2 was at the value sweet spot for me.

Also their shipping is atrocious so the very far off ship-by date you see on their site is not at all accurate. Mine was 2 weeks more. They’ve been sending whiny emails about not enough fedex pickups at their warehouse for 2 months now, so — they have had plenty of time to realize the thru out issue and adjust their ETA dates. But they have not because it will obviously deter customers. That’s my biggest gripe.

Look on Craigslist and buy a Herman Miller Aeron. I got mine for $299 and it’s the best WFH purchase for me

Atlanta

I have it, and I like it a lot. It’s an affordable price point, comfortable design for my back, and the reclining feature is convenient when I want to stretch my legs out.

Following. Have seen a lot of positive reviews for the ergochair, but limited info on the myochair.

Would recommend. I've been using the Myochair since it arrived last week and have no issues sitting in it all day while working. It's comfortable and feels like it's built well. Great option for under $200.

Also had a similar experience to what another commenter said about shipping delays - it arrived two weeks later than the date provided on the site.

Ergochair is great. Don’t know about MyoChair but can’t beat the $125 price (after the discount)

Hey beautiful people,
I’m 27Y and work in tech. Unfortunately my carpal tunnel is getting worst slowly. I’m worry that I still have like 45 years more to be retired and can’t stop working because I have a f* mortgage to pay 😭 I have a super ergonomic workstation, but I know my hand needs a long rest, and I can’t do it… Does anyone relate? What do you recommend?

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.

So here are my questions.

How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.

When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks in advance!

Partner and I are considering a move to NYC (been a dream of mine for a decade now and we now both have remote jobs) but definitely intimidated by the rental market. We’d love a two-bedroom or 1-bedroom + home office with dishwasher, W/D, cat-friendly, and possibly elevator. What’s the likelihood of getting that for $3,500/month or less? Recognize we can’t get this in Manhattan, but would we be able to find in western Brooklyn or like Astoria/LIC? Don’t want to be too far from downtown.

Can you deduct 50% of a home office if you use it 50% for business and 50% for W-2 work?

I know you can deduct a portion of a room if only a portion is used for business, but what about splitting expenses based on usage instead of area?

I often find my work cut down by partners. The part that gets cut down normally is what I consider to be the best part - the part that would change one's mind or one that would answer a question in client's mind. I don't claim to be a great writer, but wouldn't want to undermine the potential.
