We’d love a two-bedroom or 1-bedroom + home office with dishwasher, W/D, cat-friendly, and possibly elevator. What’s the likelihood of getting that for $3,500/month or less? I often find my work cut down by partners. The part that gets cut down normally is what I consider to be the best part - the part that would change one's mind or one that would answer a question in client's mind. Does that mean I need to improve my writing? Or would I become a plain vanilla by "improving"? A quote comes to mind - all good writers write alike, but all great writers write differently. I don't claim to be a great writer, but wouldn't want to undermine the potential.
