I’ve been trying to get into The Walt Disney Company for years and can’t seem to make any progress. I’ve tried introducing myself and connecting with recruiters on LinkedIn and of course, applying to jobs on their site. Interviewing at Accenture in two areas next week: Account Manager Creative and Brand Marketing and
Content Experience Manager at Accenture Interactive

The former sounds exactly like what I do now at an ad agency but on the in house agency team with Accenture being the “client”. Lots of execution work. The latter is more about answering RFPs for existing clients and developing some strategy and like 30% execution. I’m leaning toward the CEM role.

I graduated a few weeks ago and accepted a role for an art direction internship at a good agency but not somewhere I love. They only gave me a day to sign the offer letter, so I did because I didn’t have other immediate options. But a few days later an agency I love reached out to me about a Jr. AD opening. Ad copywriter who’s freelancing outside of agency world, who do I ask for a reference/review from when finishing up a project? Project leader (who I had minimal interaction with) or day-to-day contact who is lower ranking but actually worked with me beyond the initial interview? Recently interviewed for a senior UI design job and was tasked to do a skills test - to look into their product and find areas of improvement.

The more I do the task, the more I feel that I’m doing a free design audit. Furthermore, they reposted the ad.

In my task, must I proposed a new design or would it be just a list of areas of improvements? How many is a good number of finds? Currently, each area is coupled with a write up and what competitors are doing.

Hey everyone, What would you say is the difference between an account director and a senior account manager. I was just promoted as an account director when I quit my job and moved to the U.K and now having so much trouble finding a job as an AD. My last interview feedback was that they really liked me but felt like I was lacking new bizz skills and that the organic business growth opportunities I found and jumped on were “luck aka right place at the right” moment kinda thing?
