Is it worth moving from MBB consulting to an AD role in Big Pharma with a pay-cut if you are in a good standing at consulting?

What kinds of behavioral questions should I be prepared for in a second & final round interview for an Associate Copywriter role at an ad agency? I am also doing a presentation on two writing samples.

I’m newish to being a film producer after rotating from account at my ad agency. I love my current role but I’m wondering what my future career options could be. I like the idea of going brand side, or going freelance (if I have the connections). I don’t think I’d want to line produce at a prod. company, or work at another ad agency. Are there any other types of roles that I can consider, but I’m just not aware of yet due to lack of experience? Would love to hear any personal stories too.

Final round for an LMM fund on the portfolio performance side. Quoted them a 65% higher base salary, and haven't discussed bonus yet.

My accounting/finance skills are weak, but the role is more process enhancement, due diligence, and ad-hoc profitability projects. I also have a decent tech/ops background I can lean on to survive for a while

I think I’ve finally reached the point where I can confidently say that I do not want to be in consulting a year from now :) I want my evenings back and I hope with 2 -2.5 YOE and a PhD I can land a good AD role in industry (corp strat / BD at a mid size biopharma). I’ll start putting feelers out next spring - wish me luck ladies! (And obv any practical advice is more than welcome). I went back and forth on this because I was afraid I wouldn’t find good opportunities without significant YOE

Looking for a Junior AD role or internship. Open to anywhere in the country, just looking for my shot..

I have two opportunities I’m considering. One that’s a director position with a large holding company doing what I do now. The second is a well known vendor DSP. Both similar in building teams and bringing partners up. Both pay is similar. But going vendor side (not sales) would that hinder my path on the media/agency side if I were to take it? Director at large ad Agency or Director at Vendor DSP.

Going from mid-level to senior in LA. What salary should I expect with first-year Sr AD position?

Underpaid? I’m currently working as a brand designer in-house but am more of an art director / senior designer role doing majority of the conceptualizing, photoshoot direction and content planning / creation for all emails, product launches and web design. 65k. Are there similar design salaries out there? What should i request when i’m promoted to Senior BD? Should i look somewhere else?

Anyone know of shops hiring juniors? My search has been pretty tough. Looking for a junior AD gig literally anywhere in the US

ACD interviewing with agencies for CD/ACD role. Then some brand recruiter emailed me about an Art Director position. Huh? 🤔 Do they even look at your resume or portfolio before reaching out?

I'm thinking about moving from New York to London. I have 7 years of experience at ad agencies. I'm looking at jobs like "marketing manager" at a brand or tech company or hybrid operations/growth roles. I'm not sure I could jump to a biz dev director role in an entirely new market, which is why I'm looking at generalist roles where my experience would count. From an initial search, it seems like London salaries are significantly lower than New York. Any recommendations on how to navigate this?

I have an interview for a KPMG Associate Director role and am currently a Senior Manager at PwC. Is this considered a lateral based on the two firms or is it a step up? Any idea what the pay range is for the AD role at KPMG?
