Hi everyone, I’m looking at making a career change if the timing and job fit seems right. What can anyone tell me about working in simple auto claims at Travelers? I currently work in the insurance industry on a processing team for simple claims (unlicensed at this time) so this wouldn’t be a far stretch skill wise, but does anyone have information on pay ranges, company culture, career advancement, or anything else that may be helpful? Is it rude to host a team meeting and put someone as optional because they’re most likely very busy? I put the partner as optional but it’s because she can receive updates from the directors... but idk if it would come off in bad taste.

I have graduated in Mechanical engineering in Nov 2019. I have worked as Quality supervisor in rubber manufacturing company for few months. Pandemic crises hit them to shut down company. Since i have been in international BPO as Pre Auth analyst for 19 months. Finding some new job to start my career.

Is this legal?
My partner and I are moving out of our condo building in NYC at month end, and the building management (not our landlord) has communicated to us that, on top of the 1K non-refundable fee and 1K security deposit to move out (stated in lease), they are also issuing a $1,250 "sanitization fee" for the public areas (hallways/elevators), since we happen to be moving out during COVID19. We feel this is taking advantage of tenants during this time and may not be legal. Any advice helps!

Starting at a firm this fall after my clerkship. They said to check back in the beginning of August on if I’ll be in person or starting remote. I have to give my apartment complex notice of whether I’ll renew in June. I’m currently living in another state. Should I renew my apartment here for a few more months, or move to the new city?
