Your total comp will consist of a mixture of salary (which is usually low compared to other tech firms), starting bonus that pays out monthly over two years, and stock options that pay out over 4 years in a 5-15-40-40% split. (Sales positions also get commission).
Stock is negotiated up front in a number of shares rather than a value of shares, so if the stock price appreciates, so does our comp. Beyond that, the ranges posted above by McK1 are a bit high for a non technical role on the east coast, but probably aren't too far off for Seattle or the Bay Area.
Annual reviews look at your annual comp based on stock price during the review. Based on your performance for the last year they set your target comp and award stock to get you there.
So, you can some poor stock performance made up if you're an upper tier performer.
But likewise good stock performance can mean no raise even if you were a good performer because your invested RSUs put your comp above their target
How would it differ for a TPM? Entering final rounds with several FAANG and expecting 2-275 between them all.

The bands are pretty wide and the top of one will overlap with bottom of another. Probably 150-250 L5 and 200-300 L6?
