It's been 3 years, companies need to stop blaming everything on Covid. Your bus is running late? Covid. More wildfires? Covid. Wow, just wow.

Why is return to office so important for all these companies.. why force an employee to do things that affect life outside work .. specially when there was no loss , infact increase in productivity during covid . Hearing all the extents these companies are going to get people back and its stressing me out 🫣

We are choosing schools for my 3 year old school A : Montessori school has 15 kids in a class and 2 teachers and one helper. Infant got Covid and has been having a fever for about 24hrs so far. Been giving Tylenol every 6-7 hours due to her discomfort AND temp above 102/103. Any moms w experience of <1 yr old with Covid? I am struggling. My mom lives with hubby and I. She and he have issues. I’m am drowning at work (had a project that sucked the life out of me, and since then I can’t seem to find my way out of a paper bag). Currently recovering from COVID. Mom is mad at hubby and me bc we don’t want my bipolar (untreated) sister around for the holidays, and my mom’s behavior is like a bad roommate (fueling hubbys stress levels so much so he thought he was having a cardiac event). December feels like a country song. Two dogs died on the 1st. A hard rain exposed latent roof damage and collapsed ceiling in two rooms. Stove, fridge and water heater all went out on the same day last week. Yesterday my spouse said they needed a break from the chaos through the holidays and left. Today a positive covid test. And 7 deals trying to close before year end requiring my full attention so none of the aforementioned can get any attention.

We’re doing a church wedding soon because our first wedding was during Covid. I have absolutely no idea what to wear. Any ideas besides a real wedding dress? Got my Covid booster and on a 1-10 scale of great-dying, I’m at like a 3, maybe 4. I’m going full man-flu though (I’m a woman) and it’s so incredibly liberating. Sent my husband to go get popsicles and random things I don’t really need. Whispering about how weak I feel and walking super slowly from couch to bed. I see why y’all men do this. This is power.

I decided to skip my company's Christmas lunch last week. It was held at work with about 150+ people stacked in a huge conference room with about 15 people per table. No masks obviously. Over the Thanksgiving break , 3 members of my family came down with Covid (I was lucky I didn't) . We all were together for Thanksgiving dinner at one of my siblings. I don't want to take any chances. I have been Covid free this entire pandemic and I plan to continue keeping it that way

Tested positive for Covid on the road for a client - what to do other than isolate

Don’t mean any hate here, but I moved to Chicago for school in September and noticed that people are sadder and angrier. My experiences shopping, dining, making conversations with strangers (or people at uni) have been shockingly cold 😅 I came here several times before covid and loved being around locals. This time though, things feel very different 💔

Please heed this warning! If you feel off and your symptoms do not match up with your normal body feelings I.e headache type of odd feeling, please get medical attention from a doctor! I went in yesterday and found out I have an inner ear infection that stemmed from side effects from having had Covid twice! I’m on medication now but it could have been worse!

I’m looking for a new job and working on my resume. At my last company, I oversaw our Covid response, (policies, tracking, return to work, safety, communications, transition to hybrid, etc). I even received a bonus and letter from our ceo. Do you think this is something to include on my resume for HRBP/people experience/culture roles? Hello everybody, this goes out to all my fellow healthcare workers. Especially the travelers i.e. nurses, CNA‘s. OK.we are three years in to this Covid pandemic. Yes, this pandemic in my view is not over especially right now. If you’re making $90 an hour as a nurse, you can do a hell of a whole lot more ,help the CNA’s out, clean a room for the environment services department ,stock your rooms. No one deserves that amount of money you’re getting paid . Remember why you got in healthcare!!
