Any tech jobs in Hawaii?

One of the worst double standards in corporate america.

Companies especially startups expect you to not keep interviewing when you accept an offer. “It can deteroriate your brand.”

But companies would replace you in a heartbeat for almost any reason. Including interviewing a candidate who will replace you (you will be fired as soon as they find a person)

So companies can mess with the little guys but we can’t look out for ourselves? Thoughts? ..

I had my first interview for an in-house position with the HR Manager last Thursday. She said they were looking to hire before the end of the month and next steps were to have one-on-ones with the rest of the team. I haven't heard anything back and we're almost half-way through the month. Should I follow-up and ask for the status of my application?

Applied to a job a couple weeks ago and HR person reached out to me recently but having second thoughts. If I don’t call back, will I get blacklisted? Will this ruin my chances of applying again?

I’ve know this for a while but stuck it out because I am getting great experience, my co-workers are wonderful people, and most recently, the board of directors have decided to increase everyone’s pay…

I just had an interview at C1 but noticed that the role was just reposted yesterday. I interviewed on Tuesday. Does anyone know what this could be mean? I am feeling very disheartened. I prepped and worked so hard to do well on the interview.

For the experienced devops/sre here. What's the pay in the market like for someone with overall 10 years of experience and about 5 in devops/sre/cloud engineering roles?

My marriage is beyond repair I think. Husband just said we keep having the same conversations over and over in the past year about things we’ve been trying to fix. Is a year enough time? 11 years together for reference. And I don’t think his statement is true - he literally mentioned one of those things last week that he was happy about. I just can’t do it with these vague statements in arguments.

I received a mail an hour ago saying you have cleared the Accenture technical round.l checked their website and it was showing same.
But suddenly after an hour, now the website says ..." owing business reasons we forsee some delay in processing your candidature. Once we have a suitable demand, commensurating your background, experience and expertise, we shall reach out to you".
What does this mean for me?? Has anyone else got a message like this from Accenture?

So Ive been doing cry it out for 2 weeks. The first couple days were awful, and then by the third day she basically slept through the night. The last few days though, shes been waking up in the middle of the night or early morning and crying for 1.5 hours plus. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a cry it out regression period?
