Does it look bad in my resume to resign after less than a year at a job? writing here the time I’ve spent at each company since graduating college:
- 2 years at company 1 (resigned to move back to home country)
- 2 years at company 2 (resigned and moved back to the US)
- went back to company 1 (it had grown exponentially after 2 years so came back at higher position) (resigned after 1 year to join a startup at director level)
- 6 months at startup and I want to quit with nothing lined up

Would you take a job that’s the same base as what you currently make but $15k larger bonus target? It’s a director position in industry so I’d assume less growth than my current gig within the company but would maybe lead to better opportunities beyond this company.

Interviewed for a director position, but was recommended to be hired as a c3 at eyp with 10y of experience. Am I getting the short end of the stick?

Thanks for adding more hoops for us to jump through. Becoming a principal in KM has always been a question mark. I've been here close to a decade now and I thought I could at least become a senior director (like AP - both the position and the person) in a few years. Now I find there's another level to grind through and burn myself out with politics to reach the top. Truly, 2022 has been a horrible year at ZS. I feel like I've returned to a totally different company after the pandemic.

Anybody hiring an Associate director for a role that doesn't do reporting?

What should be a good salary in Delivery role (Director+) in Dallas, TX area? If someone can provide a range that also will be helpful.

I am contemplating making the jump from climbing the corporate ladder (most recently a director of sales and customer operations) to owning and operating a niche franchise. Been at pwc for a little under 9 months and my partners have been saying a few times they want to start putting me up for promotion to director. They don’t know that I want to start my family soon. I’m nervous that being put into a new role for director and starting a family will be a lot on me. I would out of my comfort zone. However not sure if I’m overthinking it. 1. How many rounds should i expect in total considering I clear everything? (I think my first round itself has technical + manger/director)

Hi Friends, I need help! I interviewed for my current position as Director of Marketing and Sales and gave a 60-70k salary range. I was hired on at 55k base with a 6,000 annual bonus putting me at 61k. They low balled me because I have 8 years of marketing experience but 0 sales. I been there 7 months now and have not started the sales side of things because they still have not provided me with a computer that can handle the software I need. Can I justify a raise? About to turn PL at BCG (~4 YOE) with MBA. I am negotiating comp at a series C start-up, Director role.

I am an expert path associate at McKinsey with 1.5 YOE + 6 YOE prior to McK. Expected 2022 TC = 200k base + 50-70k bonus. How should I position myself for (Sr) Director level jobs given my current tenure? I want to test the job market right now, but it seems like recruiters are reaching out for Sr Manager jobs with significantly less TC than what I’m making.
