I am an Account Executive and work in the programmatic team as part of a wider agency, but I’m not sure this is where I want to be. I want something more collaborative, creative, and less to do with numbers and budgets.
Does anyone have any idea what I should look into and how I could transition into that role?

Applied to the associate consultant position at LEK ~2.5 weeks back. Haven’t heard back accept/reject. Any one with the turnaround timeline?

Talked to a recruiter about a Senior Portfolio Development Manager role at M12 (Microsoft’s VC). Base is 160-180k + 15% bonus + stock grant (idk how much this is). My current salary is 158 and will go up to 180k in July. I’m thinking it doesn’t make sense to apply for this role. Can someone validate my thoughts + share more information about the role if you have some?

I feel burnt out and want to leave my job (have felt this for months now) but right now probably isn’t a good time to do that. Since my agency had layoffs, they are expecting me to take on a lot of the work left behind. Any advice or suggestions on keeping my sanity? I feel suffocated staying in my current role and want to cry at the thought of doing more work for the agency. I feel like I have no choice unless I’m willing to be unemployed :(

But when comes to paying tax - total I need to pay nearly 1.6 lpa..
Finally no use of getting better CTC offer.
How to overcome paying heavy tax.
Note :- person who struggles for a day earns 16lacs - after deducting the tax he earns 14.5 lpa
When other colleague who enjoys daily and work for 5hrs/day he earn 14 lpa - but no need to pay tax at all.he was gaining all benefItsby old regime

Heard a coworker mention that we would qualify as working in “financial services” and therefore qualify to receive the vaccine in Phase 1C (we are currently in 1B). I tried to find out what “financial services “ means but there is very minimal information online. Anyone know if this is true?

I spent two years as an executive, and while I was providing what I believe was impactful work, and receiving praises across the board, I got fired from one day to the other without any explanation.

After a few weeks, some managers (who were under me) shared that there had been a while campaign raised against me for a couple of months by others VPs and shareholders. 1/2

Recommendations on any first watch if I have a 6k budget? Was looking at Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41. Open to adding a 1-2k more if you have a great suggestion.

Can I ask why would some guys keep the hair on their body? I mean like those bushy hair that grows everywhere and during summer you can almost see it. My ex had loads on him and when I ask him he seemed offended. But I thought it's not easy to clean and also adds too much friction so doesn't feel nice to touch, not to mention it could be very hot during summer?

How do you deal with a coworker who always wants a pat in the back for breathing and needs to insert himself everywhere?! Even to projects that aren’t his?! He just doesn’t shut up in meetings when our manager speaks, literally will tell me what to do and how to manage my work and then will tell me to tell my manager that all of it was his idea. WTf?! If my manager praises me, he inserts himself to discredit my work—that I just got lucky, or circumstances happened to be right.

I’m still pretty new to the tech world and I’m still in my first year of schooling for it. However, I need to practice what I’m learning in order to truly understand it. Any suggestions on how to get some hands on experience while learning?
