I am a new consultant which I am excited about. However, I want to move to another firm that has more clients in my area of interest. Should I stay where I am and get promoted then leave? Or should I try to make the jump after I have worked at my current company one year.

I have been an HR assistant for 2 years in the public sector 80% staffing 20% recruiting, I want to break out into the private sector and have 5+ interviews but never seen grab there attention. I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's ALM in Management. They both have the same requirements (generally speaking) including a capstone course that serves as a field immersion course with the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

I used to think my hometown was boring, but after being deployed for six months, there's genuinely no other place I would rather be in. Does that happen often? I moved to my hometown again and feel happier and at peace.

I have ADHD and it is affecting my family life. I forget commitments I make to my wife literally SECONDS after making them, and it is so defeating to be so consistently unreliable. At work I have enough systems set up to help me keep up with my deadlines etc, but struggle to find solutions for home life. Any tips? I am not medicated yet, but am not against starting. I just don’t know if it helps throughout the day or only for a few hours. TIA 😭

I’m a young professional and have been working with a due diligence firm for close to 2 years now and learned from friends in the industry that I’m not making what I should be even though I was promoted earlier this year. I asked my boss for a raise in salary outside of the review period which was denied because of “fairness” which I find is bs but not entirely sure?
