Who is Hiring?

May want to end up at MBB one day...interviewed last year and went to final rounds but didnt get offer. I now have an offer for a top tier fortune 500 company doing something innovative and a boutique consulting firm with similar pay. Where should I go?

Hi everyone, I have a bachelor's degree in dental surgery and will study Master of Health Administration at Dalhousie University Nova Scotia this Fall. I have 4 years of professional corporate healthcare experience. I am currently working in the United health group. Do MBB Canada interview candidates with this background, or should I focus on the Big 4?
Also, can anyone help me with a referral for a summer internship at Deloitte/pwc Canada.

MBB folks, I’m a Product Manager (non-tech company) and interested in working at MBB.

Which level/role does MBB can offer me ?

If all the top consulting firms made anonymous decks or gave anonymous pitches to a client, eg no branding and the client did not know which firm made which deck, do you actually think that the client would prefer MBB?  Is MBB actually coming up with better/more innovative solutions? I feel like I see many repeat or slightly altered solutions on almost all of my cases, are these really things that people at Deloitte/Accenture etc aren’t coming up with?

How do partners at MBB structure their teams on small engagements?

On my team, we have analyst and associate level resources split across multiple projects (2-3). This seems ineffective, am I wrong?

Any insights into how transferable are the skills while working in product strategy? Hypothetically, which is easier:
1 - If you are working on a SaaS offering at Cisco, how easy is it to go Google/ LinkedIn for product strategy/ BizOps?
2- Are there higher chances to go to Google/ LinkedIn strategy roles from MBB?

How easy is it to push back start dates for MBB? I’m currently interviewing for Jan 2022 intake, but assuming I get the offer, is it possible to push start date to June 2022 (for personal reasons)?

I have 4YOE in tech implementations . i want to move around to get better pay. should I target FAANG or MBB? Primary driver to exit is better compensation . Thanks fam

Anyone went the APD (Advanced Prof Degree) route at MBB? Is a 1 page resume an absolute must? Would love to connect to learn more. TIA!

Any other former B4 or MBB partners glad they left consulting for FAANG leadership role? As one who is so glad I am doing something different after 20 years in the “grind” I am looking for others who have made the move!

If I’m not good at case interviews is it a sign that I don’t have what it takes to be successful in MBB?
Have business sense but lacking structure which is obviously going to be fairly significant in the role. Have a few opportunities with T1/T2 firms to bring my digital expertise in, but suck so badly at case interviews

Any insight on getting MBA from mendoza as far as prospects for transitioning into a post-mba strategy consulting role? It’s ranked outside the top 15 but from research seems like it still sends plenty of grads to top consulting firms (not MBB)

Hi all- My SO is currently at a Big4 & was initially preparing for S&O roles at GCP but given the high number of ex MBB consultants hired, they believe its just more competition to get the offer & to eventually get promoted over time.

Instead, they have decided to pursue program manager or cloud consultant roles, which they feel might have a lower barrier to entry from an assessment standpoint. Not sure if the bowl agrees but would like to get your thoughts, thanks!

Anyone have success cold applying for VC roles and not in MBB? Just submitted an app last week and they should be reaching out this week, but I’m not sure how long to wait before giving up…

Having 3YoE in procurement research and now in a research team at an MBB, I feel I've reached plateau learning-wise. Have been focused in Chemical domain throughout.

I now intend to explore roles on client(Chemical Companies) side (like SCM, Planning, Strategy) but unsure how do I go about it.

What should be an ideal career roadmap for someone like me. How should I prepare/do in order to pivot towards those roles?

PS. I'm a BE Chemical Engineering, and no MBA.

Can consultants share how many yoe it typically takes to break into MBB / other consulting firms as a principal consultant (aka specialist in a particular industry). Also is MBA a prereq/ would it drastically help?

What is a fair rate for Senior Art Directors freelancing in Chicago?

Anyone ever have experience negotiating a new offer to include unvested 401k match and stock grants from your current employer? I hate leaving money on the table but there are some good roles out there. I’m not fully vested in my current 401k yet and my stock grants haven’t matured yet either.
