I would dump him personally. You 100% deserve better.
A different view: OF has created a (safer) space for sex workers to regain control over their (often) exploited content and bodies. Your boyfriend has ascribed value to their content creation, validating that the service they provide to society warrants a cost, the same as you or me or the person you buy your coffee from. Services rendered for “free” to the end user (read: tube sites) are done so at the cost of the content creator through exploitation, stolen wages, etc. Your boyfriend is going to watch porn, at least he has chosen to do so in a way that compensates, validates, and provides sex workers with a place free of exploitation. The personal interactions are not as personal as one may think, much in the same vein as the old “I bet you think strippers like you too” joke, it’s just a natural extension of the service that some choose to use and some don’t.
I really appreciate your perspective PwC4, thank you for replying with that. I want to make sure everyone knows I’m not trying to slut-shame content creators and generally don’t believe sex work is “bad”
I'd consider it a red flag. Would you be okay with your boyfriend going to a strip club or getting nude photos from an ex-girlfriend?
If you hadn’t talked about it first, I would have the discussion now and say you’re uncomfortable. If you have talked about it before and he still did it, get out. OF is a lot more personal than porn. Would he be okay with you doing the same? If not, he shouldn’t be doing it. If he’s actively hiding it, that’s also a red flag.
Oh hell naw. This would not be okay with me, and my bf will either get rid of OF, or I would go. Definitely leave him if he refuses to get rid of OF knowing it makes you upset.
I think you should be upset that he is this bad with money that he’s paying something that you can easily get for free.
OF is too personal for me. If he’s lying about it or refuses to stop, I’d leave
No, I wouldn’t consider it lying. I haven’t had this discussion with my boyfriend, so I’m not really sure if he has one. But if I found out, I’d ask him to delete it. If he hesitates or tries to justify it, that’s a red flag
Run, don’t waste your time
My initial reaction is to tell you to run. However, I really don't know? Based on my understanding only fans content is really like cam girls and what not. Isn't that similar to watching p0rn? And don't do guys do that already. 🤔
Not very helpful, but just saying Id be uncomfortable too OP
It’s kind of like Snapchat creators as well, where you can have 1:1 interactions (like get unique content from them directly to you) and you can also buy them gifts from amazon if they request that from you. That’s why I’m extra uncomfortable lol
OF really is blurring lines. On the one hand it’s kind of like porn/cam girls but on the other hand it sounds more personal (never been on it). Withholding the info is better than straight up lying but a little iffy. Only you know what you are comfortable with. Personally, I would go the route of allowing with full transparency...potentially making it a joint account and maybe incorporating into fantasies. I have jealousy fetish tho and that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. 😂 I wouldn’t dump him ASAP..but you need to feel out the situation, your feelings on it, his honesty around it and your sexual compatibility on this type of thing. I do think you should have open communication with him and not bottle up emotions bc it will build resentment.
He enjoys porn and going to strip clubs. That's a healthy male sexual appetite. He's just paying for it instead of getting it for free. Trust me, you'll be craving it if his testosterone and yearning for sex drops drastically.
I think it would be beneficial to talk about expectations and boundaries with your bf. While there is no hard and fast rule about adult entertainment with relationships, I 100% think these matters need to be discussed about what both individuals feel and don’t feel comfortable about.
There’s nothing wrong with OnlyFans, many of the creators are cam girls. So it’s technically porn, something that I would recommend you it’s to talk about it and maybe watch it together.
We are adults and we should act as such. Unless, your bf is into really crazy stuff like bestiality or actual rape I don’t see the need to create unnecessary drama.
