I think around 45 is when you start to take it easy
Crap, I missed that memo.
I’m 41, with two kids. We still party like college students, but can afford ubers and better alcohol. Well, until Coronavirus hit.
I am in late 40s and no kids, so before this pandemic crap I would fly to Rio or Madrid or London or LA and would party there. And yes, you go to better clubs and drink better stuff cause you can afford it, but back home it’s mostly home life and working out

If you’re out of your undergraduate program, you’re too old for partying.
What? That’s crazy.

I partied hard till I was mid 30’s.... and still occasionally do 😂
I’m finding it’s the consultants that have the most lenient party schedule. I need to get on that party bus.

Do you OP.
I'm mid 30s and still go out a lot (pre-covid)... Not clubbing... but going out for sure... Clubbing got boring around the age you are at. If it wasn't for covid.. I'd be out most weekends and having a blast.
You’re going to the wrong party places ;)
26?! Stay home and eat oatmeal, gramps. You only have a few good years left anyway, why spent it drinking bud light limes with COVID-infested kids?
This but unironically
Shut up

LOL
Age is just a number so just depends where you live. In NYC 50s is the new 20s.
Maybe there’s a difference between partying and settling down in a relationship. Agree that nyc does have these older guys who can be creepy who never settled down and continue to chase the 20 year olds. That is very different to me than ‘partying’ which we do less now but which I did a ton of in 20’s to mid 30’s and still enjoy from time to time.
It’s all relative. I have two friends who are 33-35 and they still get blackout drunk on Friday and Saturday. If you worked with them, you would have no idea. Both are successful and one is on partner track in the next 3-5 years.
Are they taking applications for new friends?
I'm afraid to say you are too old for this.
You should have started when you were just 2! Too bad, your days have gone now.
Absolutely not. You're only 26.
I’m in my mid thirties and can put people in twenties to shame when it comes to partying. Having said that my definition of going out has changed a lot. I don’t really go to clubs (go to bars sometimes) but frequent music festivals and similar events. Age is just a number and you just have to do you.
I don’t know how many years I have left in me and this quarantine sucks as I’m not getting any younger!
Omggg Tomorrowland soooo good... it’s burning man that’s killing me 😢😢😢😢 (33 FTW)

You get old when you stop partying. 😅

There’s no magic number. The “norm” depends on the city you’re in, and also your social circle.
I lived in the Brickell area of Miami for a while. Young professionals everywhere, and Miami is internationally known as a party city / destination. People partied from all ages; it was common to see people even in their 40s. My friend circle were people in the late 20s, 30s, and the eldest being in her 40s.
Personally, I’m not a frequent partier, but I would go out with my squad on some weekends and live it up (responsibly). It was a great experience to live that lifestyle and have a close group of friends to enjoy it with. I’ve moved on from those days, but do miss the fun & memories from time to time. There’s nothing wrong with a fun night out with your friends every now and then 🥳
Maybe that's my problem... I'm from Miami and the party within me won't die when though I'm in Texas now!

When you start to get 2 day hangovers. That's when it's time.
That’s called “work”.

As soon as you can't be on your parents' health insurance any more, it has to stop I'm afraid.
Who are you?
Rising Star
Yes. As soon as people hit 26, they stop going out. No fun allowed ok.
Not too old at all, however unless you’re in a location where the virus is not an issue, plop your ass home :)
