Is an Assistant Director at EY one level below Director/Partner or would it be more of a administrative/secretarial position?

On EAD (based on 485) now, currently I’m doing SAP, planning to join a company for which the position has nothing to do with SAP at all. My final action date is current but I haven’t done biometrics. Can I still join considering my final action date is current but It’s USCIS’s responsibility that my GC is still not in hand?

My start date got pushed back a few months. I stand the risk of violating my status (on OPT) because of the 90 day rule. I told the company and they politely asked me to figure it out. I can’t find anyone who’s hiring right now. What are my options since the company doesn’t seem to care?

What do you say when a recruiter won't tell you the salary range? For now I deferred the conversation until I've been through more interviews, but he said there's no set range he's tied to, tho in the past has had to dismiss potential hires due to them being too expensive... I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

How does everyone feel about "trial runs" instead of being given an actual promotion? Basically, doing the job for 3 months and if it doesn't work out, you go back to your old role. But the role you are doing as a trial has far more pressure and responsibility than your previous role. I'm really trying to gauge how I should feel about this and if this is common.

I have been with my company for almost 8 years. I wasn’t certified when I started but I have been now for about a year. It wasn’t required before. I learned that my coworker who has been with us less than a year and had no prior experience in healthcare makes very close to the same amount I do.
