Just got through to a final - final interview with ByteDance / TikTok any advice apart from learning the dances, does anyone have any insight of what has changed / changing since the appointment of the new CEO?

Should I cram for interviews or rely on what I actually know?

One of the worst double standards in corporate america.

Companies especially startups expect you to not keep interviewing when you accept an offer. “It can deteroriate your brand.”

But companies would replace you in a heartbeat for almost any reason. Including interviewing a candidate who will replace you (you will be fired as soon as they find a person)

So companies can mess with the little guys but we can’t look out for ourselves? Thoughts? ..

Is it a good practice to inform the hiring manager that you have an offer in-hand in the first round of the interview. Or we shall wait for the last HR round.

What is the severance package at PwC? I’ve been there 16 years. It’s imminent. Would appreciate any thoughts on if I have a case of wrongful termination. I took a short term disability leave from March-July 2021 for mental health reasons. I feel helpless. All my applications seem to go down the drain. I get few recruiter calls (5% of the time), but it doesnt go beyond that. I meet the JD, and I do know that I talk and answer structurally. But, I get an email that the competition was high! Losing my self confidence 😭. Internal referral has not been helpful either.
