I have been with my company for almost 8 years. I wasn’t certified when I started but I have been now for about a year. It wasn’t required before. I learned that my coworker who has been with us less than a year and had no prior experience in healthcare makes very close to the same amount I do. My boss says our rates are based on our experience which is clearly not true. One of our none clinical members who left was making the same as me. Does this seem right to you guys?

What’s your experience as a Total Rewards/Comp Analyst? I’m considering this path and I’d like to know Pros and cons, what you like, what you hate. What does the career path look like?

One of the worst double standards in corporate america.

Companies especially startups expect you to not keep interviewing when you accept an offer. “It can deteroriate your brand.”

But companies would replace you in a heartbeat for almost any reason. Including interviewing a candidate who will replace you (you will be fired as soon as they find a person)

So companies can mess with the little guys but we can’t look out for ourselves? Thoughts? ..

Quick question with some urgent help/guidance needed. Picking out of two offers one with TCS working directly for client which is Google and other with Grant Thornton which is a the top 10 accounting firm which would also put me in the gov sector.
