I’m a bariatric coordinator and an RN. I graduate with my MSN in executive leadership in December. I’ve always wanted to go into leadership. My CNO turned my current job into a “leadership” position. I am miserable in my job, suffering from imposter syndrome, not able to crack interviews, immigration stress, not being able to go back to home country, feel like I should take a 6 month break and move to Canada in lower paying job with peace of mind and no work after 6 PM and less stress. This is more of a rant than anything but advice is welcome. I’m so fed up with my manager micromanaging everything. We miss client deadlines frequently because deliverables are backlogged under their review, they make comments on things they weren’t in client discussions about, and won’t listen when told client wanted it X way. I’m at a loss for what to say to them because I’ve tried repeatedly to fix this to no avail.

What do you do to protect yourself when lead counsel is conducting a case poorly?

I went through the entire interviewing process for a position. The recruiter then asked for two references and my current address (little over a week ago/ a week after my final interview). I know that one of my two references was contacted and had a phone call (they spoke a day or two after they asked me for them). They spoke to that reference a week ago today (last monday) … And I still haven’t heard anything. It’s been a little over two weeks since my final interview. Is this a bad sign?
