I’m an ABM and this position was marketing content manager - lots of video shoots, commercials etc. if you were - did you interview for it knowing it’s not really your strong suit?

Almost positive my primary AE hates me (am a new SE).
Sales is a new space for me. I’m coming from a technical dev environment and due to lack of staffing, I’ve been assigned accounts WAY earlier than normal (typically done after months 7-9+ but I was given accounts and AES in month 2.
Im trying my best but am really struggling with feeling like a failure. The AE comes across as a bit pretentious and makes it clear that he feels like he should have someone fully ramped up. What do I do?
