Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.

Hi, I got an intern offer from juniper networks, Sunnyvale and they’re paying me 33$/hr. The role is related to supply chain.
I also have another offer from another big semiconductor company for business management intern and they’re also paying me 33$/hr but for Austin location.

I have now negotiated with juniper to bump up to 40$/hr if possible. I really do like the role at juniper. So guys, was it the right thing i did, asking to bump up my pay anywhere near 40$? Kindly advise

I’m not seeing much, anything decent has well over 200 applications and closes within 2 days. Networking isn’t turning anything up. Thought things would pick up with the reopening, but people are still being let go. Not sure what to do.

In a small company (no longer at DentaQuest) with a 2 person Accounting team and closing the books every month is a nightmare, especially since everything is constantly changing and there is no set processes that cover much. I am getting tired every day and starting to really hate the job. Any advice to stay on top of things and feel better?

I got promoted to be a supervisor to a small team of account managers and started at $77k and have now increased to $83k 6 months later. I have been through a lot! I have a toxic upbringing, and from mid 2021, the situations in my life went from bad to worse.

I am going through therapy In my recent therapy session, my therapist started crying while I was talking ( I was not crying at the time)

Is this normal?

FYI - I really like my therapist and I believe I have made a lot of progress through my therapy sessions.
