Anybody out here know of any “development programs” for mid career professionals looking to transition to sales? Have a data/analytics b/g., but I’m much more social than a “typical” data/analytics person. We have a program at my company that I’m networking to get into, but believe it’s prudent to diversify options, as there is obviously no guarantee that they select me for the program.

So I’m in people ops (for lack of a better term) at a national nonprofit for 3 years now and I am *struggling* to pivot into more traditional HR roles and people ops positions outside of the nonprofit space. Has anyone here successfully made that pivot? What did you find most helpful?

Since my agency had layoffs, they are expecting me to take on a lot of the work left behind. Any advice or suggestions on keeping my sanity? I feel suffocated staying in my current role and want to cry at the thought of doing more work for the agency. I feel like I have no choice unless I’m willing to be unemployed :(

Pretty sad how low value auditor time is… our utilization goals are in the mid 90s while tax and advisory are in the low 60s… so auditors work 50% (90-60 / 60) more hours for less pay. Crazy!
