I’ve been trying to get into The Walt Disney Company for years and can’t seem to make any progress. I’ve tried introducing myself and connecting with recruiters on LinkedIn and of course, applying to jobs on their site. Would anyone happen to have any words of advice for someone trying to transition from the ad industry into the entertainment industry?

This last one he’s pretty intimidated by because it includes some type of case interview where the Capital One team will share a pseudo code type case. Yesterday I attended MS hackerrank test and was able to solve some Java based MCQ and one sql query correctly but not able to execute a code with any passed test case so should I expect a call from a recruiter for an interview?

Question on Wharton - do you all think Wharton these days prefers people with some sort of tech background and entrepreneurship goals post MBA? I’m imagining W is trying to catch up with H/S on tech and entrepreneurship fronts but it’s just my guess.

When’s the right time to fire? Founded a post revenue SaaS startup (120K TTM), have marketing/sales cofounder whose been part of a few scaled startups with for 1yr, good with conceptual map of driving growth (increase LTV, go upmarket, decrease churn), but, always seems to find an excuse why he can’t drive users (product not ready, churn too high to make effort worth it, no LinkedIn presence. While also does not break out tasks for rest of team (non-marketing/sales) to support marketing effort.

Had bloodwork taken at 8w 3d. HCG came back at 340,000 mIU/mL and progesterone at 45.1. Had an ultrasound at 8 weeks as well and molar and twin pregnancy were ruled out. Am now 11 weeks and worried that those numbers might be very high, did some research online and seems that high HCG can indicate Down syndrome? Anyone have similar numbers?

Is it normal for there to only be one PM on the day to day for a busy account (4-5 projects at one time all needing to be prioritized). Coming from an account background I’m used to having more team members to consult and brainstorm with. Now I’m left to figure it out alone with minimal guidance from my manager.

I am (likely) getting an offer at an 10ish year old company in growth mode to head up their recruiting division, but they have no comp structure (and it's hard to get data on my own function in the industry!) Any suggestions on how to ensure I am not doing the job of a manager or director without the pay rate to boot!? I've been doing this long enough it's an art.
