Is there a difference between specialist leader and senior manager at promotion time? And what’s typical base and bonus for 1st year SM/Spec Leader?

I'm currently a Senior Associate finishing up my MBA and I'm interviewing for a role in Corporate Strategy. I would like to discuss the salary range for this role with the recruiter. Is this recommended? What salary range should I be expecting as an internal hire? My target is 150k base for this role.

Talked to a recruiter about a Senior Portfolio Development Manager role at M12 (Microsoft’s VC). Base is 160-180k + 15% bonus + stock grant (idk how much this is). My current salary is 158 and will go up to 180k in July. I’m thinking it doesn’t make sense to apply for this role.
