up to $250 reimbursement every 2 years. need to turn in your phone when u leave the firm. most ppl have deloitte phone and a personal phone since u need to sign over your phone number to Deloitte if u want Deloitte info on your personal phone.
Chicago office (not sure if others are different) is if you use your personal phone I believe Deloitte will pay 80% of your bill. If you purchase through Deloitte for a separate work phone, they give you an allowance of $250 total to use on phone and accessories. If cost of phone and accessories is higher than that, you'll pay the difference up front, but the monthly phone bill is completely covered by Deloitte. Work phones have a company-wide plan where everyone gets like 2GB of data per monthly, but they honestly don't do anything if you go over other than email you a notice so you know. The work phones also get hotspot-able plans in case your clients have bad Wi-Fi.
Is this still a thing? Having Deloitte pay 80% of personal bill
I’ve heard it’s the best to bring a phone, and use the $250 on phone accessories so D won’t keep your phone if you happen to leave? Is this true?
It might depend on what line you work in. I had a separate phone but when I was discussing leaving the firm they mentioned that I had confidential information on my phone at any point while owning it so I wasn't allowed to keep it. You may want to ask around before you buy. I can't imagine that they'd really fight for your phone but they may have to temporarily take it to wipe all Deloitte data when you leave. IT has to add Deloitte apps and capabilities for you, you aren't able to do it yourself for either option, so chances are when you leave they'll have to remove them.
Will the iPhone X be $250 through Deloitte’s portal?
