I had my first interview for an in-house position with the HR Manager last Thursday. She said they were looking to hire before the end of the month and next steps were to have one-on-ones with the rest of the team. I haven't heard anything back and we're almost half-way through the month. Should I follow-up and ask for the status of my application?

I’m a midlevel Big Law associate applying for in-house positions that ask for experience drafting and negotiating agreements. I have negotiated a few agreements, but I am light in the area, though I have the substantive knowledge and I’m comfortable marking up agreements. If asked about my negotiation experience in an interview, I plan to talk about the agreements I have negotiated and some of the issues that came up. How would you recommend I talk about my negotiation skills in an interview?

This last one he’s pretty intimidated by because it includes some type of case interview where the Capital One team will share a pseudo code type case. How much DSA can be asked/Important?
I have cleared the technical screening
and my Departmental rounds are scheduled.
Just wanted insight in this.
I am good in SQL, spark, bigdata,-techstack, but
DSA is something I am not in touch on day to day basis.
So I expect that perticular portion can be a bit challenging for me.
Lets say I don't perform in that but perform good in rest of the area, Can it be reason to not get selected for the final offer??

I got offer from TCS recently. Before releasing the offer, in the offer break up email, joining bonus is mentioned but not in the final offer letter. Recruiter seems genuine and assured that it will be processed with 2nd month salary and she will process it once I join TCS. Hope I can trust this as it is not officially mentioned in offer letter.

Just thinking or overthinking may be. But I'm working virtually since 1.5 years now. I know somebody is speaking out of that picture and we virtually spend most of the time together. However, I really don't know who is the actual PERSON behind that picture !?
Can I spend 2 hours with that person in a bar or can I not? Or above all if I leave the firm today and meet that person at a random place will we even recognise each other?

29F here. I’ve been on a project with a 40M married partner at my firm for a few months. Recently he’s been texting me photos of his nightly bourbon/scotch (we both enjoy bourbon). Texts are usually after 8pm and we have a brief exchange about our drinks. Is this innocent or is he trying to get into my pants? I’ve never worked with a partner/manager who texted me like this.

Any book recos for dating someone with anxiety? Also open to tips as well? In an LTR and my partner falls into deep periods of anxiety and takes sometime to get him back. Weighs on me sometimes but I love him so here we are. I’m in therapy myself so that helps but interested in understanding anxiety more.

How do you avoid the “am I next?” feeling of dread when your agency makes layoffs and the tension that comes with it from the rest my team? They just laid off a well liked member of my team spontaneously. I am new and haven’t even really started doing much yet. I’m afraid the rest of my team is going to feel animosity towards me because they will associate me with him being laid off (They let him go in less than a few weeks after I started). I am already having a hard time and this doesn’t help.

What if a person changes his/her walking style after seeing you?
