I am being flown out for dinner and drinks with a team I’ve been interviewing with for over a month now (multiple zoom and phone calls). I don’t yet have an offer, and I assume this meeting will be to discuss the finer points of employment. We are going to a more upscale (I wouldn’t consider it ‘fine’) dining establishment. How formal should I get with my outfit?

Can a newspaper use my photo without my consent?

I'm not a reporter, I'm just a citizen who took a picture during an event and uploaded it to my social media account. Turns out a digital media wrote me to have permission to use my picture, and when I said yes, they said they were looking for some other picture because I had already given permission to the competitors, which I didn't.
They just posted it without asking me, letting me know, or even mentioning my credits. Is this legal?

I am a new consultant which I am excited about. However, I want to move to another firm that has more clients in my area of interest. Should I stay where I am and get promoted then leave? Or should I try to make the jump after I have worked at my current company one year.

I have never come across as rude as tcs onboarding team HR. . Tata Consultancy They are literally incapable of handling of a crowd of 100 people and. I am surprised how they are planning to onboarding avg of 200 people on single day. They take individual's questions and start answering with statement like can't you understand I am not here for this purpose with very rude tone and in a crowd of more than 200 people. . I recently ended a 5 year relationship to someone I thought I was going to marry and everyday I worry I made the wrong decision. At the end of the day though our values weren’t in alignment - he became very conservative over the years (or more open about his perspectives on it).. such that he thought being gay is something not to be discussed/ encouraged, abortion should be illegal etc. And just felt an inconsistency with his level of compassion/empathy that was confusing bc it felt hot and cold

Getting married next month. My sister is in a serious relationship (they’ll get engaged soon but aren’t yet). Obviously her boyfriend is invited to the wedding and to family pictures but I’d like to have copies of the photos that include him without him (ie my partner, me, sister and him and a version just the 3 of us without him). I’d be doing the same with my cousins who have long term non married partners. Do you think anyone would have an issue with it?
