Hello my fellow educators! I understand how overwhelming it can be working in the education industry especially when we are not being heard & supported. I transitioned to a new job opportunity as a financial advisor that led me to resign from my position as a school counselor. Teachers tend do very well in our business. Our average part timers make 3-5k monthtly. If you are looking for an additional source of income in addition to what you do please reach out to me at edna.urgilez24@gmail.com
Offered a position at North Chicago. Thoughts?
This article discusses student discipline. My approach has always been straightforward: If I have an issue, unless it is egregious, I talk with the student 1-1. I may change their seat, have them clean up their mess, etc., and if the behavior continues, I contact parents and state that the next occurrence will result in a detention. After that is an office referral. BUT my first goal is to make connections with the kids, which prevents much of this. Your thoughts?
