How do you deal with a period in your life when you lack the motivation to work?
I've just received my promotion as a SC, which I've been aiming at full speed for the past two years (Im 24 now) and suddenly I don't find meaning in my work. It doesn't feel neither purposeful nor inspiring, compared to other industies or proffesions. Furthermore, I feel as it has costed me a lot on my personal life and my hobbies.
I have been struggling to find a solution or someone to ask on their experiences.

Our admin did walkthroughs today in our classes....where we aren’t allowed to give direct instruction or move around the room so we maintain distance....and wrote that we “weren’t engage with students” as the kids worked independently on their computers and had live chat running with me the whole time as their questions arose.... how do we even begin to defend ourselves on this one? Should evals even be happening right now? Can they, fairly?? Obviously these days aren’t ANYONE’s best practices.

How do you overcome the condescending comments made to you in a male dominated industry? It seems like often times when I get on a business call, many of our clients are surprised to see me on the other side of the call, as I am a young female in Tech. I often hear comments that downplay my ability, such as “let’s not get ahead of ourselves here” or having things mansplained as if I am completely in knowledgeable. Will there ever be a time where we have to stop trying to prove our abilities?

I’ve been trying to go in house for about a year and a half. I’ve got over 10 years experience and was a partner at an Amlaw 100 firm. I’m barely getting any calls and none of my interviews have lead to offers, even though all of the feedback has been positive. Is there a way to get remaining balance from health saving account (HSA/FSA)? I was laid off last year and wage works is saying that fund has been forfeited.

I have a side business and I generated 200K net profit from it this year. I expect to have a slightly higher profits in 2021. I also make around 200K including bonus from my job.

We are also expecting our third kid and it still feels very hard to give up on our health insurance and security of the pay check. Because of that, I can’t focus on growing my own business.
