On the commercial side, I don't believe any of the major consulting firms do. We all have clients that require drug testing though.

Not when I was hired. Before I was hired there was a guy that was suspected of using marijuana and they fired him for job performance.

They don’t typically drug test you during hiring. They do however test you for certain projects depending on your clients requirements
FYI - if you are going to fail a drug test, tell your manager/director/leadership first. Its better to lose a little goodwill internally and be taken off a project than to fail a drug test and make your leadership look bad.

Consulting firms don't usually drug test, however - it all depends on what you're being hired into.
If you know you're going to be hired and immediately staffed on a project- the client may ask for a drug test (but all depends on what industry).
Keep in mind it’s alway going to be client dependent. Prob not a good look if you are about to roll on a project that requires one and back out when you hear about a drug test.
